To the Gyeongnam Governor candidates, seven tasks were delivered in the field of enhancing the competitiveness of local companies: ▲ Relocation of public institutions to Changwon ▲ Establishment of corporate support infrastructure at Jinhae New Port ▲ Strengthening policies to foster youth venture companies ▲ Creation of the 2nd Materials Research Institute (Advanced Materials Demonstration Research Complex) ▲ Development of a new digital Masan Free Trade Zone ▲ Prompt promotion of the Machun General Industrial Complex regeneration project ▲ Reduction of toll fees on the Machang Bridge.
The policy tasks sent to the Changwon Mayor candidates in the field of enhancing local companies' competitiveness included six items: ▲ Promotion of globalization of the defense industry (K-Defense) policy ▲ Establishment of corporate support infrastructure at Jinhae New Port ▲ Strengthening policies to foster youth venture companies ▲ Prompt promotion of the Machun General Industrial Complex regeneration project ▲ Reduction of toll fees on the Machang Bridge ▲ Formation and operation of the Changwon Economic Council.
It was reported that the tasks related to the expansion of industrial infrastructure for economic revitalization were sent with the same content to both the governor and mayor candidates.
