Jeonnam Education Superintendent Candidate Kim Dong-hwan Announces Pledge to Support Out-of-School Youth
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jun-kyung] Kim Dong-hwan, a preliminary candidate for Jeonnam Superintendent of Education, announced a pledge to strengthen support for out-of-school youth on the 2nd.
Candidate Kim Dong-hwan stated, “To strengthen support for out-of-school youth, we will establish a system that allows regional career and college admission information centers to cooperate with various support social organizations, and also consider measures to reinforce the educational social safety net.”
He continued, “This includes continuously providing career and college admission information such as free use of Jeonnam Office of Education’s remote education system and preparation for qualification exams to enable continued studies,” adding, “We will actively support the establishment of alternative schools operating autonomous curricula at edu-centers utilizing closed schools.”
