Korea Railroad Operates Training Cooperation Program for Railway Officials of Local Governments Nationwide
[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] Korea Railroad Corporation announced on the 2nd that it will conduct an educational cooperation course titled ‘Understanding Railway Policy and Operations’ for railway policy officers from 17 local governments nationwide at the Human Resources Development Institute located in Uiwang-si, Gyeonggi-do from the 2nd to the 4th.
The educational cooperation course is designed to provide comprehensive education on railways, from railway construction to operations, to enhance understanding of the railway industry and jointly explore ways for regional mutual development.
About 30 railway officers from each city and province will participate in this course, which combines theory and practice, including ▲Understanding Railway Operations ▲Railway Safety Management ▲Current Status of Inter-Korean Railway Promotion ▲KTX Driver Simulator Experience ▲Tour of the Railway Traffic Control Center.
Additionally, a ‘Presentation on Tourism Train-Linked Product Cases’ and a ‘Railway and Local Government Mutual Cooperation Meeting’ will be held to revitalize local tourism following the lifting of social distancing measures.
