Lee Wang-jun, Chairman of Myongji Medical Foundation, Appointed Chairman of Seo Jae-pil Memorial Association
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwan-joo] Lee Wang-jun, Chairman of Myongji Medical Foundation, has been appointed as the new chairman of the Seo Jae-pil Memorial Association.
Chairman Lee graduated from Seoul National University College of Medicine and earned his Ph.D. from the same graduate school. He currently serves as the publisher and president of the newspaper Young Doctor, international chairman of the Korean Hospital Association, president of the Korean Society for Healthcare Quality, chairman of the Seoul National University Hospital Development Support Association, vice president of the Korea Gymnastics Association, and president of the Asia Anti-Cancer Virus Association.
Chairman Lee stated, “Seo Jae-pil, who devoted his life as a doctor and journalist to the independence and modernization of our country, serves as a great mirror for me who is living a similar life today,” and added, “I will take the lead in widely promoting Seo Jae-pil’s pioneering life and inheriting his noble will.”
