The Ministry of Employment and Labor announced on the 27th at around 3:10 PM that a man in his 30s, identified as A, was burned over 70% of his body in an accident at the oxygen plant No. 8 construction site within Hyundai Steel Dangjin Plant. A, who belongs to Hyundai Rotem, was transferred to Hangang Sacred Heart Hospital and is receiving treatment in the intensive care unit. A suffered burns when an oxygen pipe burst during the commissioning of oxygen production equipment, causing a sudden flare-up.
