Europe's Largest Electronics Expo IFA to Be Held in September... On-site Event Returns After 2 Years
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi] IFA, Europe's largest home appliance and IT exhibition, will be held in Germany this September. Due to the spread of COVID-19, the event was not held offline last year, but it will be held on-site again after two years.
On the 28th, Messe Berlin, the organizer of IFA 2022, and the German Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers' Association announced at the online 'IFA Digital Press Conference' that IFA 2022 will be held in Berlin for five days from September 2 to 6.
Jens Heithecker, Chairman of the IFA Organizing Committee, explained, "IFA, which was canceled last year due to the COVID-19 situation, will be held on-site this year at its usual scale," adding that many companies have already confirmed their attendance at IFA 2022. He also explained the significance of holding the event on-site amid the need for communication between industries and companies due to COVID-19, the Russia-Ukraine war, and global supply chain disruptions.
