The company plans to actively target Japanese automakers, which are undergoing a transition to the future mobility sector based on competitiveness in future car technologies such as autonomous driving, connectivity, and electrification.
On the 27th, Hyundai Mobis announced that it had recruited Yukihiro Hatori, who served as the head of purchasing at Mitsubishi Motors Japan, and Ryoichi Adachi, who came from Mazda Motor Corporation's purchasing department. They will oversee sales and order activities as the newly appointed branch manager and deputy branch manager of Hyundai Mobis's reorganized local base in Japan.
They have nearly 40 years of experience in design and purchasing roles at Japanese automakers and parts companies. They have built extensive work experience and local networks. Their expertise includes a deep understanding of the characteristics and changes in the Japanese automotive market.
Hyundai Mobis is strengthening customer-oriented sales and order activities locally in Japan. Since the second half of last year, it has been operating dedicated local customer organizations at global bases in Europe, North America, and China. Along with this, it is hiring executive-level local experts who oversee sales and order activities dedicated to local customers.

Meanwhile, Hyundai Mobis has set a target for overseas orders of core components worth $3.747 billion (approximately 4.7006 trillion KRW) this year through diversification of order items and efforts to secure new customers. This amount represents about a 50% increase compared to last year's overseas order performance.
