[Asia Economy (Bucheon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] The Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation is conducting metaverse (3D virtual world) production training.
The Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation announced on the 26th that it will conduct a metaverse production course using the Unreal Engine program, which integrates next-generation 3D technology, at the Gyeonggi IT Saeil Center of the Yongin Women's Competency Development Headquarters until the 29th.
This training is led by Professor Lee Dae-hyun of the Game Engineering Department at Korea Polytechnic University, the first and only certified Unreal Engine instructor in Korea. The course covers basic knowledge of Unreal Engine, avatar creation and control processes, metaverse world production, interaction implementation between characters, and content packaging lectures on content encryption technology.
When producing metaverse content, using the 3D program Unreal Engine makes it easy to represent characters in virtual reality and to realistically implement backgrounds and real objects.
Recently, it has been used in web dramas such as "Yumi's Cells" and "The Silent Sea."
