Homeplus Express, Instant Delivery Sales Surge 11 Times in One Year
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Homeplus Express's 1-hour instant delivery has been gaining great popularity among consumers.
According to Homeplus on the 26th, instant delivery sales from January to March this year increased by 980% compared to the same period last year. By gender, women (85%) used the service about six times more than men (15%). Among women, those in their 30s and 40s used it the most, while among men, those aged 50 and above were the main users.
The best-selling products were ultra-fresh foods where freshness is key, such as vegetables, livestock products, dairy and eggs, and processed foods. The premium private brand (PB) Homeplus Signature products, which guarantee quality at reasonable prices, also received a positive response.

We plan to introduce various delivery services aiming for more than 160,000 online deliveries per day by 2024.”
