"Please Follow the Navigation"…Tada Launches 'Request Pre-Drive' Feature
[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Nahum] Mobility platform 'Tada' announced on the 25th that it will introduce a new feature called ‘Pre-Trip Request’ that allows users to convey basic requests related to driving methods and routes to drivers when calling a taxi.
The ‘Pre-Trip Request’ is a convenience feature that enables users to select and pre-request their preferences in the app when calling a taxi, such as ‘Travel without conversation’ or ‘Follow navigation’.
The selected requests are immediately delivered to the driver. Once set, the preferences are automatically applied from the next call onward, and can be modified anytime through the Tada app profile menu.
Lee Jeonghaeng, CEO of Tada, said, "Although very basic, we wanted to eliminate minor inconveniences by incorporating requests that users find uncomfortable to express directly to drivers into the app’s features." He added, "We plan to actively develop customized functions reflecting on-site demands so that both users and drivers can focus solely on the journey."
