Doosan Showcases Hydrogen Fuel Cell Power Pack and More at World's Largest Unmanned Mobility Exhibition
Doosan Mobility Innovation Participates in US 'AUVSI XPONENTIAL 2022'
Hydrogen Fuel Cell Power Pack, etc... "Targeting Overseas Markets"
[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Chaeseok] Doosan Mobility Innovation (DMI) is accelerating the acquisition of overseas clients by showcasing a diverse product lineup, including hydrogen fuel cell power packs, at the world's largest unmanned mobility exhibition.
DMI announced on the 25th that it will participate in 'AUVSI XPONENTIAL 2022,' held from the 25th to the 28th in Florida, USA. Hosted by AUVSI (Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International), this exhibition is a venue for sharing the latest technologies and solutions related to drones and unmanned vehicles. At the exhibition, DMI will showcase ▲hydrogen fuel cell power packs (DP30, DM15) ▲DS30W ▲DT30N ▲DZ15. Among these, the fuel cell power packs, which can be applied to various mobility platforms, will be emphasized.
The DP30 is a hydrogen fuel cell capable of long-duration flights, characterized by its ultra-lightweight and high output. It can be custom-made from fuel cell materials to stack design and system, allowing it to be applied to various drones beyond those manufactured by DMI. The DM15 is a hydrogen fuel cell with a lower rated output but reduced weight and size, making it suitable for smaller aircraft. The DS30W is an enhanced wind-resistant version of the existing flagship DS30. It can withstand average wind speeds of 12 m/s and gusts up to 15 m/s. It has durability certified by an IP43 rating for waterproof and dustproof performance, and its average flight range has been extended to 60 km.
The DT30N is an integrated hydrogen drone that reduces the aircraft size compared to the DT30 released in 2020, while improving flight time and maximum payload. The DZ15 is a product in which DMI applied hydrogen fuel cells to a helicopter-type unmanned vehicle for the first time in the world; it boasts excellent wind resistance and can fly for up to 5 hours and 30 minutes.
A DMI official stated, "DMI's hydrogen fuel cell power packs can be applied not only to hydrogen drones but also to various mobility platforms," adding, "We will introduce diverse applications through the newly unveiled DT30N and DZ15 products and hydrogen fuel cell power packs at the exhibition and actively target overseas markets."
