Macron Wins French Presidential Election... Secures Re-election
[Asia Economy New York=Special Correspondent Joselgina] Emmanuel Macron, President of France, won the presidential election held on the 24th (local time) and succeeded in securing a second term.
According to the daily The Guardian, major French polling agencies predicted that President Macron would lead with 57.6-58.2% of the vote, ahead of the far-right candidate Marine Le Pen of the National Rally (RN), who was expected to receive 41.8-42.4%.
