President-elect's side: "No set plans for Yoon-Biden summit"
[Asia Economy Reporter Jeong Dong-hoon] Regarding reports that a summit between President-elect Yoon Seok-yeol and U.S. President Joe Biden will be held next month, the President-elect's side stated that "nothing has been decided."
On the morning of the 24th, Bae Hyun-jin, spokesperson for the President-elect, said at a briefing held at the Presidential Transition Committee (Transition Committee) press conference room in Tongui-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul, in response to the question, "Are you discussing holding a Korea-U.S. summit on May 21?" that "nothing has been decided," adding, "I understand that the agenda for the summit is being continuously reported and discussed through the Transition Committee's foreign affairs and security division."
She continued, "There is no clear confirmation or decision yet on when and how the summit will be held and conducted."

When asked whether the Cheongwadae Guesthouse is being considered as the venue for a dinner if the summit is held to coincide with President Biden's visit to Korea, Spokesperson Bae said, "Since nothing has been decided yet, we have nothing to say about the venue or the method."
