Introduction of On-site Cases of 12 Domestic Companies Entering the Global Market Utilizing Overseas Talent

On the 24th, KOTRA announced the publication of a booklet titled ‘Why Overseas Talent?’ which includes cases of 12 companies that hired overseas talent through its overseas professional recruitment project, as well as voices of foreign talents working in domestic companies.
The booklet ‘Why Overseas Talent?’ contains cases of 12 companies that strategically expanded overseas by placing foreign talent in the right positions. It also features interviews with four foreign talents working in domestic companies and five KOTRA officials, delivering vivid insights into the utilization of overseas talent. Additionally, it introduces the project and procedures for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) considering recruiting overseas talent, including ▲how to utilize KOTRA’s overseas professional recruitment project ▲considerations before hiring overseas talent ▲know-how on employment contracts and obtaining Korean visas.
KOTRA supports the recruitment of overseas professionals through the ‘Contact Korea’ project to strengthen the competitiveness of SMEs. Recently, there has been an increasing number of cases where SMEs resolve recruitment difficulties in essential overseas business areas such as overseas marketing, new product development and localization, and research and development by hiring overseas talent.
