As his first new work in 9 years since The Plotters, Farewell has attracted attention with its dystopian future setting after the pandemic, following the journey of a boy whose life is completely shaken. The Uncomfortable Convenience Store, which offers laughter and emotion to comfort the hardships of daily life, ranked 2nd, and My Investment Starts at 4 AM, the nomad's investment insight returning with confirmed earnings of 30 billion won after 3 years, came in 3rd. The SF novel Cursed Rabbit, nominated as a finalist for the 2022 Booker Prize and gaining hot popularity, rose 8 places from the previous week to rank 4th. The children's bestseller The Strange Candy Store Jeoncheon-dang 14, which surpassed 1.5 million cumulative domestic sales, took 5th place.
This week saw new comics gaining attention. Interest in real estate investment books continues. YouTuber Jung Tae-ik, known as 'The Man Who Reads Real Estate' with 830,000 subscribers, released money-making investment training books Real Estate Investment Class That Changes Fate (Basic Edition) and Real Estate Investment Class That Changes Fate (Practical Edition), which ranked 8th and 13th respectively this week, maintaining a position within the top 15 comprehensive bestsellers for 4 consecutive weeks since publication.
In the e-book category, two books themed on climate environment and veganism made the rankings.
