At the final amateur selection event for the Hangzhou Asian Games held on the 21st at Jeju Golfzon County Ora Golf Course (Par 72), Jo Woo-young (21, Korea National Sport University, photo) was selected for the men's division, and Bang Shin-sil (18, Bibong High School) and Kim Min-byeol (18, Chuncheon Girls' High School Broadcasting and Correspondence) were selected for the women's division. Rankings were determined through a 90-hole stroke play over five days starting from the 17th. Jo Woo-young took first place by 2 strokes (18 under par, 342 strokes). He will participate in the Hangzhou Asian Games along with Jang Yoo-bin (20, Korea National Sport University), the winner of the Korea Golf Association President's Cup.

In the women's division, Bang Shin-sil ranked first (21 under par, 339 strokes) and Kim Min-byeol ranked second (20 under par, 340 strokes). Professional players are allowed to participate in the Hangzhou Asian Games in September. The final decision will be made based on the men's and women's world rankings announced on the 25th. Two men and one woman will be selected. For the men's division, it is likely that Im Sung-jae (24), ranked 19th in the world, and Kim Si-woo (27, both from CJ Logistics), ranked 48th, will participate.
