View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Ji-eun] The Blue House announced that President Moon Jae-in approved the nomination of Lee Chang-yong as Governor of the Bank of Korea at around 6:30 p.m. on the 20th.
The appointment ceremony scheduled for that afternoon was postponed, and President Moon plans to present the appointment letter on the morning of the 21st.
After receiving the appointment letter from President Moon, Governor Lee will hold an inauguration ceremony at 3 p.m. in the convention hall on the first floor of the Booyoung Taepyeong Building in Jung-gu, Seoul, which had been used as the task force (TF) office for the National Assembly confirmation hearing.
