[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jun-yi] The review of the so-called 'Geomsu Wanbak' (Complete Removal of Prosecutorial Investigation Rights) bill, which separates the prosecution's investigation and indictment rights, will begin on the 18th.
Park Jumin, chairman of the Legislation and Judiciary Committee's Bill Review Subcommittee 1 of the National Assembly and a member of the Democratic Party, convened the subcommittee at 7 p.m. on the same day.
The subcommittee is expected to discuss amendments to the Prosecutors' Office Act and the Criminal Procedure Act.
