Suspects Lee Eunhae and Jo Hyunsu in 'Valley Murder' Case Arrested in Ilsan (Update)
[Asia Economy Reporter Kwon Jae-hee] The suspects in the 'Valley Murder' case, Lee Eun-hae (31) and Jo Hyun-soo (30), were apprehended in Ilsan, Gyeonggi Province, 17 days after being publicly wanted.
They were reportedly caught at an officetel in Ilsan, Goyang City, Gyeonggi Province on the day.
Lee is accused of killing her husband A (39 years old at the time of death) at Yongsogye Valley in Gapyeong-gun at 8:24 p.m. on June 30, 2019, together with her lover Jo.
They are also suspected of attempting to kill A by feeding him food mixed with pufferfish poison and other substances or by drowning him in a fishing pond in February and May of the same year.
They went missing for over four months after fleeing during a prosecution investigation in December last year.

The prosecution issued a public warrant for Lee and Jo and switched to a public investigation on the 30th of last month.
