Through this agreement, the two organizations will jointly host the 'Future Guild' program to discover, invest in, and support the growth of innovative technology startups. This program serves as a collaboration platform between large corporations and startups, aiming to discover and nurture outstanding startups together with corporate partners from various industries. The program is scheduled to run for a total of seven months, during which startups with technologies matching the proposed themes will be selected to develop and validate business models with corporate partners.
FuturePlay and the Seoul Business Agency have chosen 'Metaverse' as the theme for the first season of Future Guild. Starting with this, they plan to select various themes each season, including future industries with high potential and growth prospects, as well as ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) fields.

Ryu Jung-hee, CEO of FuturePlay, said, "As new business keywords emerge and the number of startups collaborating for these increases, it is becoming increasingly difficult to conduct open innovation on an individual company basis." He added, "To address this issue, we launched the Future Guild program, which selects only the most essential themes and allows large corporations and startups interested in those themes to interact and find opportunities for collaboration or investment."
