Only Two Health and Welfare Institutions Receive "Excellent" Rating
[The Asia Business Daily Yeongnam News Bureau, Reporter Yeo Jonggu] The National Institute for Korean Medicine Development received an "Excellent" rating in the "2021 Public Institution Customer Satisfaction Survey" conducted by the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
The Public Institution Customer Satisfaction Survey is conducted annually under the "Act on the Management of Public Institutions" to improve service quality.
Last year, the Ministry of Economy and Finance surveyed customer satisfaction at 245 public institutions, including state-owned enterprises and quasi-governmental organizations, and 41 institutions received an excellent rating.
Among these, only two institutions related to health and welfare, including the National Institute for Korean Medicine Development, received the excellent rating.
The National Institute for Korean Medicine Development explained that it exceeded its customer satisfaction targets in all five major projects, including the Korean Medicine Material Bank project and the modernization of herbal medicine (decoction) project. It also received high marks in the survey for customer satisfaction, service quality, social responsibility, and performance.
Jung Changhyun, President of the National Institute for Korean Medicine Development, said, "Our efforts to implement customer satisfaction management as a core priority have been recognized externally," and added, "We will continue to do our best to foster the Korean medicine industry through even more advanced customer satisfaction management."
