SPC Paris Baguette Launches 'Cafe Adagio Decaffeinated'
[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] SPC Group's Paris Baguette announced on the 13th that it will launch 'Cafe Adagio Decaffein,' a decaffeinated coffee under its own coffee brand 'Cafe Adagio.'
Cafe Adagio Decaffein removes 99% of the caffeine based on the coffee beans, making it suitable for customers who are sensitive to caffeine or want to enjoy coffee without burden in the late afternoon or evening.
This product uses the 'water process' method, which circulates decaffeinated coffee extract GCE (Green Coffee Extract) to remove caffeine, extracting the caffeine while preserving the deep and rich taste of Cafe Adagio coffee.
Cafe Adagio Decaffein offers a sweet aroma and deep, rich flavor reminiscent of milk chocolate, caramel, and roasted chestnuts, thanks to the blend of Colombian, Honduran, and Brazilian beans. Its excellent balance makes it an optimal pairing with various desserts such as Paris Baguette's cakes and macarons.

In particular, Cafe Adagio explained that the product was launched after seeing market potential, as it received higher scores than decaffeinated coffees from coffee specialty stores in a consumer blind test conducted at SPC Group's sensory lab.
