Gwangju Gwangsan-gu, COVID-19 Prevention Education for Medical Aid Recipients Not Using Hospitals or Clinics
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City conducted outreach COVID-19 prevention education targeting Medical Aid beneficiaries who have not used hospitals, clinics, or pharmacies.
In March, Gwangsan-gu conducted a full survey of 2,929 Medical Aid beneficiaries aged 65 and older and identified 35 individuals who had not used hospitals, clinics, or pharmacies even once in the past year. This education was conducted to check on their health.
Their homes were visited directly to provide education on COVID-19 infection prevention methods, vaccine guidance, and nutrition education.
