Cambodia National Team Athletes in 4 Events Hold Joint Training at Korea National Sport University
[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Sehee] The Cambodian national team is conducting joint training with athletes from Korea National Sport University.
Korea National Sport University announced on the 12th that "20 national team athletes from four Cambodian sports will stay in the Korea National Sport University dormitory until May 8 and train together with our athletes."
The Cambodian team, which arrived in Korea on the 10th, consists of national representatives in Taekwondo (10), Boxing (3), Judo (3), and Fencing (4), all of whom are students at the Royal University of Phnom Penh.
On March 23, Korea National Sport University signed a business agreement with the Royal University of Phnom Penh, agreeing on mutual academic and faculty exchanges, research and training athlete activity exchanges, and academic and research material sharing.
The Cambodian team is training in preparation for the Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games) opening in Vietnam in May.

Shin Jeongho, head of the Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation at Korea National Sport University, said, "Through our school's sports system, we can contribute to the development of Cambodian sports," adding, "It also holds great significance in terms of our university's internationalization."
