Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju, Conducts 3rd COVID-19 Booster Vaccination for Foreigners
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City announced on the 12th that it will conduct the 3rd COVID-19 booster vaccination for foreigners (including undocumented foreigners) who have completed the 2nd dose.
The vaccinations will be administered at the Gwangsan-gu Public Health Center on three days: the 16th, 23rd, and 30th, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Considering that foreign residents find it difficult to take time off on weekdays, the center decided to focus on providing vaccinations on Saturdays.
Foreigners can receive the vaccination immediately by visiting the health center on the day without a reservation, bringing their foreigner registration card, temporary management number, passport, or other identification.
Not only registered foreigners but also undocumented foreigners can receive the vaccination without any disadvantages. Those who complete the 3rd dose by April 30 will be exempt from fines and have entry restrictions deferred if they voluntarily leave the country by October 31.
