SK C&C Signs Business Agreement with Seoul Technopark to Support Smart Factory Construction
[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] SK Inc. C&C announced on the 11th that it has signed a business agreement with Seoul Technopark to support the establishment of smart factories for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and mid-sized companies in the Seoul area.
Through this agreement, SK C&C and Seoul Technopark plan to support the digital transformation of companies tailored to the characteristics of the Seoul region by ▲developing and distributing Seoul-type smart factory models ▲discovering demand companies for smart factories in the Seoul area ▲sharing infrastructure and information necessary for company support among each institution.
SK C&C will provide SaaS services based on the comprehensive manufacturing service platform for SMEs and mid-sized companies, ‘I-FACTs (iFactory) Hub,’ customized to the Seoul-type smart factory model. Through this, digital transformation across the entire production site including ▲production management ▲process improvement ▲quality control ▲IoT center ▲safety management is possible, as well as communication and collaboration tools specialized for SMEs and mid-sized companies.
Kim Ki-hong, President of Seoul Technopark, said, “We are pleased to be able to solve the difficulties faced by companies in promoting digital transformation projects in the Seoul area through cooperation with SK C&C,” and added, “We will carry out various cooperative projects to enhance the competitiveness of manufacturing companies in the future.”
