This performance is a musical adaptation of the children's bestseller "The Book-Eating Fox" by Franziska Biermann, enhancing interest and immersion by adding exciting music and comedic acting to the imaginative story.
The performance is conducted by "Theater Company Garam," which operates musicals for children and families. Theater Company Garam is widely known for its musical adaptation of Anthony Browne's picture book "Piggybook."
The "Book-Eating Fox" musical conveys an enjoyable reading method by showing exciting events that unfold due to the fox that eats books after reading them, encouraging children to use their imagination while reading to make it more fun.
Kim Mira, Director of Library Operations, said, "To prevent COVID-19 in the local community, we decided to hold the performance non-face-to-face so that children and families can safely enjoy it at home," and added, "This performance, which awakens the joy of reading through the book-eating fox, is beneficial for children, and we hope many children will participate."
