CJ Freshway Launches Large-Size Package of Saeng Augustin's 'Kkung Pad Bongkuri'
[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-yoon] CJ Freshway announced on the 8th that it will newly launch a large-quantity product developed from the recipe of the popular menu 'Kung Pad Pong Curry' of the famous dining brand 'Sang Augustin'.
The recipe was developed in collaboration with Fresh Easy, a company specializing in convenience foods. The recipe, originally for 1-2 servings, was restructured into a configuration for about 30 servings, and plans to expand from school meal channels to various group meal routes.
The newly introduced Sang Augustin Kung Pad Pong Curry (around 30 servings) includes crispy fried shrimp and a special sauce packaged separately, which are popular as meal menus among students. It contains a generous amount of crispy and chewy whole fried shrimp (2kg) and Sang Augustin's representative Pu Pad Pong Curry sauce (6kg). The cooking method is simple: fry the shrimp for about 5 minutes, place them on rice, and pour the boiled sauce over. Adding various stir-fried vegetables such as bell peppers, onions, and green beans enhances the texture.
