Gyeongnam Province announced on the 7th that the forum is being held to forecast the Korean Peninsula situation in 2022 and the new government's direction on North Korea policy.
Amid unstable international circumstances, uncertainty over the Korean Peninsula situation has increased. The forum was organized to anticipate the future situation of the Korean Peninsula and inter-Korean relations and to explore the new government's peace strategy for the Korean Peninsula.

After presentations by related experts on the topics of "US-China New Cold War and the Korean Peninsula Situation" and "Exploring the New Government's Peace Strategy for the Korean Peninsula," a discussion will follow.
Gyeongnam Province and the Inter-Korean Exchange and Cooperation Research Center plan to promote the Inter-Korean Exchange and Cooperation Forum quarterly on various topics to create an atmosphere of peace on the Korean Peninsula, ensuring it is not a one-time event.
