In the weekly women's golf world rankings officially announced on the morning of the 5th (Korean time), she received 3.77 points, soaring 37 spots from 53rd place last week. She accumulated points by winning the LPGA Tour 2022 season's first major, the Chevron Championship, held the previous day at Mission Hills Golf Club in Rancho Mirage, California, USA, by a 2-stroke margin. It was her thrilling first victory in 62 tournaments since debuting on the LPGA Tour in 2019.
