[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Seryeong] The 6th District Unit of the Highway Patrol Division at the Gyeongnam Provincial Police Agency will conduct intensive crackdowns on traffic violations such as cargo trucks, speeding, and reckless driving on highways for one month starting from the 1st.
The district unit will deploy available personnel including highway patrol cars and undercover patrol cars to prevent cargo truck traffic violations such as lane violations and failure to maintain a safe distance, as well as speeding and reckless driving of all vehicle types, aiming to prevent major traffic accidents on highways during the spring outing season.
To prevent traffic accidents caused by speeding, they plan to strengthen enforcement during driving using fixed and mobile speed enforcement cameras along with vehicle-mounted speed cameras inside undercover patrol cars.
