View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] On the 29th, Jeonggwan-eup, Gijang-gun signed a business agreement with the ‘Jeonggwan-eup Community Security Council’ and ‘hy Jeonggwan Branch’ to continuously discover and expand support for households in crisis.
The agreement was made to check on vulnerable groups and single-person households in the area and to detect and support households in crisis at an early stage.
According to the agreement, 70 low-income isolated households will be provided with health drinks twice a week for 10 months starting from April.
The health drinks are supported by the Hope Lighthouse sponsorship fund of the Jeonggwan-eup Community Security Council, and Jeonggwan-eup recommends and manages the recipients.
A yogurt delivery manager from hy, a lifestyle-based visiting service worker, participates as an ‘Honorary Social Worker of Jeonggwan-eup’ and plays a role in continuously checking on isolated households in the area and early detection of households in crisis.
The Gijang-gun side said, “With the signing of this business agreement, we expect to build a dense local network centered on the Community Security Council, contributing to the early detection of households in crisis, alleviating the social isolation of single-person households, and improving the health of vulnerable groups.”
