Kakao Establishes Healthcare Corporation... "Building a Mobile-Based Healthcare Ecosystem"
[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Nahum] Kakao announced on the 31st that it has established a healthcare corporation called 'Kakao Healthcare.'
Established on the 17th, this corporation aims to engage in ▲development and service of AI-based medical solutions ▲health management services ▲comprehensive information system management and maintenance services ▲sales of system integration construction services, among others. The corporation's CEO will be Hwang Hee, the head of Healthcare CIC.
A Kakao representative explained, "The goal of the healthcare corporation is to build a mobile-based digital healthcare ecosystem," adding, "We are considering ways to provide technical support such as data standardization and AI to help individual hospitals utilize medical data."

Kakao plans for up to 10 employees, including CEO Hwang, to join the new corporation and prepare for new business once administrative procedures are completed. The corporation's name may also change in the future.
