Gwangsan Fire Station in Gwangju, Inspection of Mountain First Aid Kits for Thawing Season Preparation
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Yoon Jamin] Gwangju Gwangsan Fire Station (Chief Song Seonghun) announced on the 30th that it conducted an inspection of the mountain first aid kits installed on hiking trails in the jurisdiction in preparation for mountain accidents due to the increase in hikers during the thaw season (February to March).
In Gwangsan District, there are a total of four mountain first aid kits installed: three on Eodeungsan Mountain (Dongjabong Shelter, Yaksuteo Samgeori, Seokbong) and one on Yongjinsan Mountain (between Seokbong and Tobong).
During the inspection, the expiration dates of the medicines inside the mountain first aid kits were checked and replaced, insufficient supplies were replenished, and preparations were made for safety accidents that may occur due to the increase in hikers during the thaw season.
