Additionally, Jwa Nam-su, Chairperson of Jeju City Council, drew attention by reporting only 96,000 KRW. Chairperson Jwa declared about 700 million KRW in assets including land, buildings, and deposits, but due to financial debts from building construction and other factors being similar in amount, he reported this lower net asset value. The assets of his eldest son and grandchildren were excluded as they refused to disclose them.
