Korea Toyota Donates 100 Million KRW to Support Vulnerable Groups

[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Dae-yeol] Toyota Korea Motor and Toyota Financial Services Korea announced on the 30th that they donated 100 million won to Anna's House, a social welfare foundation in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province, and participated in a lunchbox sharing volunteer activity. The donation will be used as funding for a meal service project to prepare lunchboxes for 20,000 socially vulnerable groups, including elderly people living alone and homeless individuals. Employees from both companies personally participated in the lunchbox volunteer work, preparing and delivering about 700 meals. Toyota Korea has maintained a steady relationship with Anna's House since 2005. Nobuyuki Takemura, President of Toyota Korea, said, "We hope this will provide some help to vulnerable groups who are receiving less support due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic."
