[Asia Economy New York=Special Correspondent Joselgina] U.S. President Joe Biden and Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong condemned North Korea's ballistic missile provocations and urged a return to dialogue on the 29th (local time).
According to the White House, the two leaders held a press conference after their meeting at the White House that day and stated, "We urge North Korea to step back from further provocations and return to the negotiating table for serious and sustained diplomacy."
On this day, the two leaders shared concerns over North Korea's continued ballistic missile launches this year and agreed that North Korea's actions violate United Nations Security Council resolutions.
In a pre-distributed statement, they also "reaffirmed their joint commitment to the goal of complete denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula and the establishment of lasting peace."
