Harim Appoints Vice President Jeong Hoseok as New CEO
[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] Harim has appointed Vice President Jeong Hoseok as the new CEO.
On the 29th, Harim announced that it held a shareholders' meeting and board of directors meeting at the headquarters' main conference room and appointed the current Vice President Jeong Hoseok as the new CEO. CEO Jeong is scheduled to hold an inauguration ceremony on the 1st of next month and officially begin his duties.
The new CEO Jeong was born in Jeongeup and joined Harim in 1989. He has experience in practical tasks such as accounting, finance, auditing, meat processing and fresh sales marketing, planning and human resources, as well as roles including head of the planning coordination office, head of production headquarters, and head of management support headquarters (CFO, CISO). This is the first time an internal executive, rather than an external recruit, has been appointed to the CEO position.
