Boseong-gun Opens Applications for Cultural Welfare Card... Annual 200,000 KRW Youth Culture Expense Provided
Providing Annual Cultural Welfare Fund of 200,000 KRW to Youth Born Between 1994 and 2001
[Boseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] Boseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 29th that it will promote the Jeonnam Youth Culture Welfare Card support project, which supports the cultural and leisure activities of youth, in collaboration with Jeollanam-do.
The 'Jeonnam Youth Culture Welfare Card Support Project,' being implemented for the first time this year, provides 200,000 KRW per person annually for cultural activities to youth aged 21 to 28 (born between 1994 and 2001) residing in the province.
The support targets youth aged 21 to 28 (born between 1994 and 2001) who have continuously resided in Jeollanam-do for more than two years since January 1, 2020. The age range will be gradually lowered to include youth as young as 19 to broaden the scope of beneficiaries.
However, public institution employees receiving welfare points, out-of-school youth education allowance recipients, and female farmers and fishermen voucher recipients in Jeollanam-do are not eligible for duplicate benefits. For those eligible for the Munhwa Nuri Card, 100,000 KRW will be provided as the difference excluding the Munhwa Nuri benefit.
The application period is from next month 1st to April 30th, lasting one month, and applications can be submitted online through the NongHyup Card website.
If online application is difficult, applications can also be submitted in person at the general affairs department of the applicant's local eup or myeon office.
The support fund will be provided in the form of a check card and can only be used for cultural activities and self-development sectors such as books, movies, performances, academy courses, and travel within Jeollanam-do. However, usage is not allowed online or in other cities and provinces.
