'453.6 Billion KRW' Gwangmyeong-Siheung Urban High-Tech Industrial Complex Breaks Ground on 28th... Completion by End of 2024
[Asia Economy (Gwangmyeong) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] The 'Gwangmyeong-Siheung Urban High-tech Industrial Complex' in Gyeonggi-do broke ground on the 28th.
Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Corporation (GH) announced on the 29th that it held the 'Gwangmyeong-Siheung Urban High-tech Industrial Complex Groundbreaking Ceremony' at the site located at 1038-7, Gahak-dong, Gwangmyeong-si on that day.
GH plans to complete the site development by the end of 2024 by investing 453.6 billion KRW, starting with site preparation work in the second half of last year, and then begin supplying the site.
GH expects this project to contribute to the advancement of small businesses in the Gwangmyeong and Siheung areas, mutual regional development, and strengthening the competitiveness of the industrial structure. In particular, once the complex is established, it is expected to create employment for about 8,800 people and induce production effects worth 136.2 billion KRW.
