Chevrolet's Giant SUV Tahoe, Customer Delivery Next Month
[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Dae-yeol] Korea GM announced on the 27th that it will deliver the Chevrolet Tahoe, a full-size sports utility vehicle (SUV), to customers starting next month. This model had been available for pre-order online since January this year, and with the addition of this new vehicle, Chevrolet now offers a complete SUV lineup.
According to the company, the Tahoe has been the best-selling full-size SUV since its launch in the United States in 1994. Chevrolet established itself as a leader in the SUV market by introducing the 'Suburban Carryall' in 1935, considered the world's first SUV. The lineup includes the domestically developed small SUV Trax, the compact Trailblazer, the mid-size Equinox, and the large Traverse. The facelifted Traverse model was recently released, and the Equinox facelift is scheduled for release in the first half of this year.
Korea GM is expanding its sales portfolio with imported products in addition to domestically produced vehicles while pursuing a premium strategy. It plans to launch several electric vehicles by 2025, including the Bolt EV and Bolt EUV in the second quarter of this year. With over 400 service centers nationwide, Korea GM boasts more locations than other imported brands, which is considered a strength. Customers of the Tahoe, Colorado, and Traverse can receive regular vehicle inspections and consumable replacements without prior reservations. Additionally, a pickup and delivery service is available, allowing customers to receive and return their vehicles at their preferred locations without visiting the service center in person.
