Due to the destruction or damage of waste treatment facilities caused by the wildfire, difficulties are expected in handling household waste in Uljin-gun. The Daegu Environmental Office and Uljin-gun shared the damage status and discussed future measures.
The Nagok Incineration Plant has a daily processing capacity of about 20 tons and handles approximately 60% of the waste generated in Uljin.
