[Photo] 156 Dongdaemun-gu Employees Participate in 'Love Blood Donation'
On the 25th, staff group blood donation to overcome blood supply shortage at Dongdaemun-gu Office Art Gallery
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Dongdaemun-gu (Mayor You Deok-yeol) conducted the ‘2022 Staff Group Blood Donation’ on the 2nd floor art gallery of the district office to overcome the blood supply crisis caused by the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.
The event, hosted by the Korea Industrial Health Association Hanmaeum Blood Center, was held on the 25th from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with a total of 156 Dongdaemun-gu office employees, including fixed-term workers and social service agents, voluntarily participating to practice sharing life.
At 10:00 AM, You Deok-yeol, Mayor of Dongdaemun-gu, also visited the site to encourage the employees who participated in the group blood donation.
Employees who participated in the blood donation received benefits including 12 types of health checkups such as blood type testing and hepatitis testing, and were given blood donation certificates along with small commemorative gifts such as movie tickets or cultural gift certificates.
The district office granted regular learning hours and paid leave on the day to encourage active participation of employees in this blood donation event.
