President-elect Yoon Issues Stern Warning to North Korea: "There Is Nothing to Gain from Provocations"
[Asia Economy Reporter Naju-seok] President-elect Yoon Seok-yeol on the 25th issued a stern warning to North Korea, stating, "There is nothing to be gained from provocations."
On the same day, Yoon made the statement through social media (SNS), saying, "Yesterday, just one day before the West Sea Defense Day, North Korea carried out its 12th provocation this year."
He also expressed his respect for the victims on the occasion of West Sea Defense Day. Yoon said, "Fifty-five soldiers lost their lives in the Second Battle of Yeonpyeong, the Cheonan sinking, and the Yeonpyeong Island shelling," adding, "The freedom and peace we enjoy today are deeply indebted to their noble sacrifices."
