Gibo Receives UNGC 'Anti-Corruption Award'
Recognition for Efforts in Establishing a Fair Business Environment and Expanding Social Responsibility
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] The Korea Technology Finance Corporation (Chairman Kim Jong-ho, hereinafter referred to as Kibo) announced on the 25th that it received the Anti-Corruption Award at the '2022 Anti-Corruption Summit' jointly hosted by the UN Global Compact (UNGC) Korea Association and the Korea Socially Responsible Investment Forum.
The UNGC Korea Association held this event to strengthen integrity and fair corporate management. The anti-corruption excellent companies selected at the Anti-Corruption Summit were companies or public institutions that have strived to establish a fair and transparent business environment and promote social responsibility, which UNGC pursues. They are selected through a comprehensive review of the Anti-Corruption Policy Evaluation by the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission, integrity evaluations, government management evaluations, and media reports.
Kibo was recognized as the best public institution for integrity, achieving a Grade 1 in the 2021 Integrity Evaluation by the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission. It has a strong compliance and ethical management system, including an Integrity Agreement system that pledges ethical management through customer participation and a 'One-Strike Out' system that strictly holds accountable corrupt acts.
