Gwangju Bukbu Fire Station Holds Appointment Ceremony for New Volunteer Firefighters
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] On the 24th, the Gwangju Bukbu Fire Station held an appointment ceremony for 19 new volunteer firefighters in the main conference room of the station.
The Bukbu Fire Station Volunteer Fire Brigade was established in March 1996 and currently consists of 12 teams with a total of 309 members. They contribute to community safety through assisting in firefighting operations at various disaster sites, as well as engaging in diverse volunteer activities and campaigns.
The appointment ceremony included the presentation of appointment certificates to new volunteer firefighters, the volunteer firefighters' oath, basic training on qualifications and safety accident prevention, and communication of roles and requests as volunteer firefighters.
