On the 23rd, Gwangsan Fire Station announced that it inspected the water rescue equipment boxes installed in rivers and lakes within its jurisdiction.
The inspection was conducted in preparation for the upcoming summer water accidents, along with the regular annual inspection mandated by Fire Agency Directive No. 140, "Regulations on Installation and Management of Water Rescue Equipment Boxes."
The water rescue equipment boxes are equipped with life jackets, lifebuoys, and rescue ropes so that anyone can perform rescue activities in case of water accidents.
