After completion, both freight trains and electric trains will be deployed on the Daegu Industrial Line. However, freight trains are planned to operate after the line is extended to Daehapsan Complex to establish an effective transportation system integrating rail freight handling between the Daegu and Gyeongnam industrial complexes.
Construction work will be promoted by a lump-sum bidding (turnkey) method for each section and other construction methods.
