The transition committee explained the background of the appointment, stating that "he is reflecting on his actions and is an essential person."
On the 23rd, the transition committee announced that Professor Jeong Seung-yoon of the Busan National University Law School was appointed as a specialist to the Political, Judicial, and Administrative Affairs Subcommittee of the transition committee, which deals with judicial reform policies.
Professor Jeong was the person who prepared the reference materials for Yoon Seok-yeol's judicial reform campaign pledges. When it became known that the reference materials distributed by the People Power Party in February included the misogynistic expression "Ottoke" in a section mentioning the public's distrust of the police's crime response capabilities, he was dismissed from the campaign headquarters. At that time, Professor Jeong explained that he was unaware that the expression was misogynistic.

Regarding this, Chief Deputy Spokesperson Won Il-hee explained at a briefing that day, "Professor Jeong was in charge of preparing judicial campaign pledges during the presidential election process," and "He has been reflecting on his use of inappropriate expressions during his activities at the campaign headquarters."
