Korea Management Institute Donates 10 Million Won for Wildfire Damage Recovery and Support Fund
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] The Gwangju Community Chest of Korea announced on the 23rd that Korea Management Institute (CEO Kim Bohyun) recently donated 10 million won to support the restoration and aid for the wildfire-affected areas along the East Coast, including Gangwon and Gyeongbuk regions.
The donation ceremony was attended by CEO Kim Bohyun and Lee Seongdo, Secretary General of the Gwangju Community Chest of Korea.
Korea Management Institute has actively participated in charitable activities such as fundraising for past Gangwon wildfire damages and the Hope 2022 Sharing Campaign.
CEO Kim is known to be the 61st member of the Gwangju Honor Society, a group of high-net-worth individual donors who have donated over 100 million won, and is actively involved in personal donations as well.
CEO Kim said, “I heard the heartbreaking news of those who lost their homes due to the sudden large-scale disaster,” adding, “In difficult times, I want to deliver the warmth of the local community and offer heartfelt comfort.”
